Who stands behind Corona Immunitas?

As an inter-university faculty, the Swiss School of Public Health (SSPH+) unites twelve Swiss universities and universities of applied sciences. 14 universities and health organizations are implementing the Corona Immunitas program in a coordinated manner at national level. In addition, individual SSPH+ members research specific and complementary questions. Only thanks to to this existing university network Corona Immunitas could be established so quickly.

What is examined by Corona Immunitas?

By monitoring the SARS-CoV-2 antibody development in the Swiss population over a longer period of time, the studies will help to determine the spread of the coronavirus in Switzerland. The aim is to find out whether there is protection against re-infection after a Corona virus infection and, if so, how long this protection lasts. In addition, the studies of Corona Immunitas contribute to the planning of vaccination programs and to a better preparation for future virus waves and outbreaks.
