The aim of the study is to estimate seroprevalence of SARS-CoV 2 antibodies in the general population of the canton of Geneva.
The participants were part of an existing cohort named Bus Santé which is representative of the Geneva general population. They were invited to participate with their family (partners and kids between 5 and 20 years old). Prior to the visit, participants were asked to answer questions about their past or present symptoms and their behavior in the context of the current COVID-19 epidemic. Information on their other health problems and medical history were also collected. After consent, a blood test was done to detect the presence of antibodies to SARS-CoV 2.
