Corona Immunitas Nestlé, a seroprevalence study conducted by the Institute of Family Medicine and the Population Health Laboratory of the University of Fribourg, presents the first results. The study aimed at estimating the proportion of employees with antibodies at two Swiss Nestlé sites, one in the canton of Vaud and the other in the canton of Fribourg. Antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in 17% of the employees working on Nestlé Research sites in the canton of Vaud, and 18% of the employees working at the Nespresso factory in Romont in the canton of Fribourg. The seroprevalence study is currently repeated to assess the evolution of antibodies in the same population.
